Why Did You Decide To Start Your Business? I decided to start my business in 2014 when I felt like I couldn't find fun pop culture cards to give to my friends. I would hand-make them Valentines and then it sort of grew from there.

What Is The Best Advice You Can Give to A Woman Starting Her Business Venture? The best advice I have is to always keep pushing forward and focus on your own ideas. Don't let what people are doing around you slow you down or make you second guess yourself. I think if you have a unique point of view and exciting ideas, people will flock to you and support you. The other advice I think is important is to always be kind to your customers and supporters. I try to treat everyone who follows me or buys items from my shop as if they were my friends because I would want the same thing.

What Is Something Most People Don't Know About You? I think most people don't know I have a job outside of making the cards and that Countess Luann is my favorite Real Housewife.

What Does Your Typical Day Look Like? I work a lot at my non-Etsy job, so my typical day is long hours at work followed by nights in the living room packaging orders and watching my favorite TV shows with my dog.

Who Are Some Women That Inspire You? (Globally and Locally) My grandmas, my mom, my best friends, and then, of course, Beyoncé, Carly Rae Jepsen, Charli XCX, Kim Petras, Kim Kardashian West, Kris Jenner

What Was One Huge Business Flop or Problem That You Had to Endure and How Did You Handle That? The biggest problem I've had to endure is other shops copying my designs. I've come to the conclusion that there's really nothing I can do to stop the copycats, but I just try to keep being original and hope my followers see that.

What Accomplishment Are You Most Proud Of? I'm very proud of growing my card business to the place it is today. I've worked so hard, and it brings me so much joy when people appreciate my work and the time I put into creating the designs.

What Do You Do For Self Care? Face masks, watching reality tv, online shopping, travel (pre-Covid days).

What Jobs Did You Work Before You Created Your Business? Tell Us Your Journey. I still work my current job, but I do corporate tax and before that, I've worked at an architectural foundation and a Chinese art foundation.
